Starch plant biogas generator set

Starch factories often generate a large amount of organic waste, such as discarded starch, starch residue, etc. These organic wastes will generate biogas during the decomposition process, which can be used to generate electricity through power generation units and achieve energy recovery and utilization.

The starch plant biogas generator set is usually a type of gas generator set, which burns biogas as fuel to drive the generator rotor to generate electricity.

Specifically, the working principle of the starch plant biogas generator set is as follows:

1. Collecting biogas: The starch factory collects biogas generated by the decomposition of starch waste. This process can be completed by constructing enclosed fermentation tanks or biogas collection tanks.

2. Processing biogas: The collected biogas usually contains some impurities and moisture. Therefore, it is necessary to treat biogas, such as removing impurities and adjusting humidity, to ensure the purity and stability of biogas.

3. Burning biogas: The treated biogas is introduced into the generator set and then mixed with air for combustion. During the combustion process, methane and other organic substances in biogas release heat energy.

4. Power conversion: The high-temperature and high-pressure gases generated by combustion drive the axis inside the generator set to rotate. The relative motion between the rotor and stator of a generator set generates electromagnetic induction, which in turn converts mechanical energy into electrical energy

5. Power generation output: The converted mechanical energy is ultimately output as electrical energy, which can be supplied to the equipment and systems of the starch plant in the form of AC or DC power.

The power generation capacity of the starch plant biogas generator unit depends on various factors, including biogas production, calorific value, capacity and efficiency of the generator unit, etc. Normally, the power generation capacity of the starch plant biogas generator unit can be calculated and evaluated based on actual equipment parameters.
