For natural gas generator sets, in order to obtain the rated output power, the air flow characteristics of the exhaust system must be carefully considered.
1. The exhaust back pressure in the exhaust system shall not exceed the requirements of natural gas generator set;
2. The exhaust system should not be installed under excessive pressure due to its own weight, inertia and changes in relative motion between parts;
3. The exhaust system must be installed to prevent rainwater or other water sources from entering the engine and supercharger;
4. The installation of exhaust system should avoid damaging the efficiency of air filter and cooling system as far as possible, including harmful effects on the environment around the diesel generator set;
5. When installing the exhaust muffler, the pressure on the lower branch pipe by the weight of the whole part should be avoided, and the supercharger port must be in a zero load state. In the current installation process of the exhaust system of natural gas generator units, it is generally required to adopt the exhaust pipe with standard pipe diameter and weight, and the pipe with long exhaust pipe.
